Kaperfahrt

Kaperfahrt is an open world pirate sandbox set in a simulated Caribbean during the age of sail. Around 200 AI captains sail, trade and wage their own wars independently of the player, so conflicts and trade routes exist whether the player takes part in them or not. Players engage in naval combat, board and capture enemy vessels, and command a fleet of up to four ships that fight in formation. Trade runs between five rival houses whose economy reacts to player actions, so blockading a harbour shifts prices across the map. A bounty list of 23 named pirates, each with their own crew and fighting style, forms the long term goal. Kaperfahrt is developed by Kleinod Games, a one person studio from Germany, and is built in Godot.
